The application “Opto”, developed by the formation General Magic, enables the real-time transformation of live-generated visual data into electronic music. Tina
Frank presented this system as part of a performance at the Speculative Sound Synthesis Symposium 2024 in Graz, Austria. From winter 2024, a further devel-opment of the concept of translating image data into acoustic signals is planned.

Tina Frank präsentierte dieses System im Rahmen einer Performance beim Speculative Sound Synthesis Symposium 2024 in Graz, Österreich. Ab Winter 2024 ist eine Weiterentwicklung des Konzepts geplant, bei der Bilddaten in akustische Signale übersetzt werden.
